This is annual event. Look out for the November 2020 details.
Last year Next Link led the candlelit march and invited people to join in and highlight the number of women and children affected by Domestic Abuse and Rape and Sexual Abuse. The march highlights the United Nation’s International Elimination of Violence against Women’s day. The procession meets at Next Link and makes its way to College Green where two larger candles are lit by survivors to symbolise the two women who die each week through domestic abuse in this country. There is a minutes silence for gatherers to pay their respects to those whose lives have affected by domestic abuse, rape and sexual assault. All welcome.
Look out for details for 2020 and please come and join us!
