New Domestic violence Prevention Programme
New Domestic Violence Prevention Programme (REPROVIDE) For men who are concerned they are abusive in their relationships with women
Researchers at the University of Bristol, along with Splitz (who run domestic violence perpetrator programmes) and Next Link domestic violence support service, are looking for men to take part in a new study that will help improve how we support men in changing their behaviour and how we can support their partners or ex-partners.
The study aims to recruit 48 men who live in Bristol, North Somerset or South Gloucestershire, and who are:
- Aged 21 or over
- Worried that their own behaviour in relationships with women might be violent or abusive
- Who can understand English well enough to take part in a group programme
If you are interested in hearing more about the study or to make a referral please do not hesitate to contact Rebekah Shallcross and the team: reprovide-men@bristol.ac.uk or on 07976 225462 OR Sally Stockham at Splitz: Sally.Stockham@splitz.org or 07587 777754 (Splitz is our partner organisation who run the domestic violence perpetrator programmes)
